What the Trump Administration Has Done Wrong
Foolish Move By the Canadian Government
By Matthew Clark
Before commencing with this post I suggest readers, especially female readers, click on the following article and give it a look through.
This will be a short post on what President Trump's administration has done right, what the administration has done poorly, and a few counter productive actions by the Canadian government.
Positive Actions By the Trump Administration.
DOGE was a beneficial tactic by the President. DOGE exposed the corruption of USAID, U.S. government agencies involved in foreign affairs, and a whole multitude of NGO's (Non Government Agencies). Why the American taxpayer should be supporting planned parenthood, or gender politics in Africa is anyone's guess. Particularly egregious was the financial support given to 6,000, yes 6,000, foreigh newspapers or other media outlets. Then there was the kickbacks to institutions back in the states. Is it a coincidence that "Late Night," and "The View," are terminating their broadcasts as funding for USAID and NGO's dries up? "Late Night" was losing $40 million a year yet that never was on the books until this year. Quite a coincidence.
Military Reform. America needs mental and physical toughness in the armed forces, not social justice. This admin has delivered in this area.
Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence practicing full disclosure with her release of information to the general public. Her release of the report by U.S. intelligenc assessing that Iran was not building an atomic bomb, this report released during a time of armed conflict, was courageous indeed. Equally courageous was the release of minutes for a meeting where President O'Bama, along with a number of members of his administration, planned the Russian Collusion hoax.
Robert F. Kennedy Junior's excellent effort(s) at exposing the malfeasance of pharmaceutical corporations, health agencies, and food companies is long overdo. Hopefully the President's support for his efforts will continue.
Reengaging with Russia, especially trying to achieve peace in Ukraine. The globes two top nuclear powers, whatever friction exists between them, should always be communicating.
Cutting taxes is always positive. Leaving more money in peoples pockets is a good thing.
Immigration! Full marks to the President for securing the boarder and deporting people who should not be in the United States to begin with. Keep going on this issue President Trump.
Things President Trumps Administration Has Done Poorly
Continuing to Fund the Ukraine military and Ukraine government. Ukraine is not of vital interest to the United States. It is of vital interest to Russia, being on that nations border as well as possessing a history of being a conduit of invasion into Russia. Defunding the Zelensky government and military would force the Ukraine President to sue for peace. This would serve America's interests.
Support for Israel, especially the bombing of Iran. This is another conflict which America should not be involved in. Why the U.S. is waging war in the Middle East has more to do with the people who funded the President's campaign than sound geopolitics. The President should pull all military forces out of the Iran-Israeli conflict.
Antagonizing India because that nation is supporting Russia economically in the Russo-Ukrainian War is extremely counter productive. The United States can not achieve any type of victory against a Sino-Russian-Indo alliance.
Increasing Government spending. The U.S. federal government debt increases 1 trillion dollars every 100 days! Increasing spending in this situation is problematic to say the least. That is what the spending section of the Big Beautiful Bill Achieves. Not good.
Not letting DOGE go far enough. The Bureaucracy in the United States federal government is out of control. It needs to be reined in. DOGE was accomplishing that. President Trump appears to have lost interest in DOGE. He needs to regain interest. PRONTO
Kneecapping Tulsi Gabbard over the Iranian atomic bomb report. Tulsi Gabbards release of U.S. intelligence assessment that Iran was not building an atomic bomb was an oppurtunity to initiate a peace agreement. Instead the President dismissed the report. Further proof that Israel holds undue influence within the United States government.
Robert Kennedy's lone problematic isssue (to date anyways) is his push to get individuals to wear health monitors. It does not take much imagination to envision the abuse this could lead to.
Without a doubt the most egregious behaviour by the Trump administration has been the failure to release the Epstein File! Unlike others I do not believe U.S. intelligence or security forces has information on individuals who sinfully participated in the Epstein pedophile ring. They do have have that information because they were not rumming Epstein. Any in depth analysis of Epstein and his cohorts reveals that he was an Israeli Mossad asset. Therefore it is the Israelis who have the blackmail information. Nevertheless the present U.S. administration should release that knowledge to the general public. Public outrage might finally result in pressuring the United States government to finally destroy the stranglehold of influence the Israeli government has within the U.S. federal government. Unfortunately it is unlikely that justice will occur for Epstein's victims. Thank the Israelis for that travesty of justice.
Yet To Be Determined
Tariffs. President Trump has managed to achieve some results in acquiring trade deals through the manipulation of tariifs. Agreements with Europe and Japan are examples of success. If he accomplishes in getting deals with Mexico, and China (unlikely) his tariff policy will be an overwhelming success. If not the consequences could be negative.
In regards to Canada the President secured an energy pipeline deal with the Albertan government. This agreement has been ignored by the mainstream media. It is a contract which the Canadian federal government dare not intervene (Cross border trade is a federal jurisdiction) as any attempt to terminate the agreement will probably encourage the Trump administration to give financial and political support for a political realignment (separation or annexation) in Alberta. Danielle Smith has displayed attitudes in the past that are not adverse to this type of political landscape for her province. Ultimately the results of the energy pipeline deal between Washington and Edmonton is that Ottawa's leverage in trade talks with the U.S. administration has been further reduced,
Foolish Move By the Canadian Government
In applying new tariffs the Trump administration has been careful to only assign tariffs to goods not covered under the existing trade agreement between Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Mexico in their response to the American action was equally cautious to tariff goods outside the existing trade contract. The Canadian governments response was not so prudent! In reply to the U.S. tariffs the Canadian government imposed tariffs on products that were covered under the trade agreement. Immediately the American ambassador to Canada pointed out publicly that this action reopens the trade agreement. This action by the liberal regime in Ottawa has allowed Washington to hold separate negotiations between themselves and Mexico, and those with Ottawa. The Mexican government was unhappy with the Canadian action of endangering the existing treaty. No doubt the U.S. will direct their negotiations with Mexico to have direct trade between the two jurisdictions, thus leaving Canadian manufacturers out in the cold. This likely explains the emotional displays Ontario premier Doug Ford has made against Donald Trump over the last few months. Ontario will the province hardest hit by the afor mentioned developments.
THAT IS IT FOR THIS POST. HAVE A GREAT WEEK
