Time For Christians To Adopt Collective Security!

One of the more puzzling characteristics of contemporary Christians is that so many of them are timid in their faith. This often includes members of the true Church's clergy. When mixed in with followers of other religions, or secularists, far too many Christians act embarrassed about their beliefs. It is a shameful trait. Sensing this lack of valour brings out the bully amongst the followers of other faiths. Even worse is the reaction of secularists, who are the worst of bullies. All over the globe Christians have become easy targets. Persecute a Christian and the worst a persecutor will receive is a pathetic protest, or perhaps an even more pathetic legal indictment, not worth the paper it is printed on. All over this earth followers of the true God are under assault. Sadly it seems many Christians accept this aggression, even revel in it. As Christian influence decreases amidst a decline in the number of practicing worshippers the motto adopted by Church leaders, and many of their congregation, appears to be"Duck and Cover."
A more assertive Christianity should be employed by present day believers of the true God. How would that assertiveness be expressed?
Christians must recognize that by accepting Christ they are the chosen people, with all the obligations incurred by that status!
Peter 2;9- But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
Christians accepted that light. Every other peoples, including Jews, have stayed in the dark.
If Christians are the chosen people then logic demands that they protect each other from ANY, AND ALL ENEMIES!
In the Holy Land this means the cause of the true Church should take primacy over both Jew and Moslem Arab, Israel or Palestine. Instead of advocating for the state of Israel, or the creation of a Palestinian nation, should not Christians be campaigning for a Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem? Modern Israel fails to acknowledge the deity of Christ, while contemporary Orthodox Jews in Israel persecute Christians through constant physical and verbal assaults on Christian faithful and their clergy. Why is this tolerated by Christians and their religious/political leaders? Surely it is not because they perceive Jews to be the chosen people. That is no longer the case. They have rejected Christ, we accepted him!
Remember what is stated in Matthew 3;9-10.
Think not to say within yourselves "We have Abraham to our father, for I say unto you, that God is able to raise up children unto Abraham. And now the axe is laid unto the root of the trees, therefore every tree which brings'not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
Christian investment in Jewish Israeli causes or Arab Moslem movements have resulted in their faith being almost totally eliminated from the land of Jesus birth. In the 1878 Ottomon census for Jerusalem, Nablus, and Acre districts Christians comprised 10% of the total population. This statistic still held true under the British mandate of Palestine as late as 1922, when the census of that year indicated a Christian population which remained close to ten percent of total inhabitants. Today Christians number just 1% of the population of Israel/Palestine. Orthodox Jews have taken advantage of this sparse Christian presence to regularly inflict violence on Believers, and their clerics, with little or no repercussions befalling the Jews for their odious actions.
In another part of the Middle East, Syria, Moslem Turkey allied with Israel to overthrow the Syrian Assad regime. Assad's Syria treated Christians with tolerance. Not so the present Syrian junta which is mudering the worshippers of Christ. Murdered, in part, thanks to Turkey and Syria.
Israel also knowingly sponsored Azerbaijan in their genocidal conflict with Christian Armenia! It appears the only followers of Christ Israelis tolerate are tourists. Could that be due to the cash brought to the (increasingly failing) Israeli economy by these people?
Meanwhile in Gaza and the West Bank, the number of Christian worshippers has declined 90% under the political rule of Hamas, and The PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization). Within these jurisdictions Christians are not only treated as second class citizens, they are frequently subjected to physical violence, including murder. Yet many Christians in Western nations express (deplorable) solidarity with the terrorist HAMAS and PLO organizations.
Ukraine is another land where Christians and their church is sytemically persecuted. While Russia has nobly enacted a benign policy towards the church in it's own country, going so far as to pass a 2020 amendment to their constitution on the importance of Christianity within Russia, Russians are not so innocuous toward the church in Ukraine. In Eastern Ukraine Russians have been documented closing Christian places of worship, as well as the relocation of Christian worshippers.
Incredibly Ukrainian government forces are just as malignant in their relations with Ukrainian Christian worshippers as are their Russian counterparts. Persecution.Org has documented the enforced closure of Christian houses of worship by the Ukraine government. Ukrainian government forces have also been revealed to have forcefully relocated Christians against their will! There is some speculation that the reason for such counter productive measures on the part of the Ukraine government derives from President Zelensky's political leadership. Mister Zelensky possesses very strong secular convictions (excuse the contradictory term) and thus has little, if any, respect for the church.
Ukraine and the Middle East are two examples of the assault on the true faith. Communist China, Moslem Africa, secular Europe and America, Liberal Canada, all persecute Christians. Why? At least in part because Christians do not fight back! Or at least they do not fight back with any sincerity.
THIS MUST CHANGE! WE MUST FIGHT BACK! GOD'S CHURCH IS WORTH DEFENDING! Remember that Christ was not a pacifist (example; Jesus violence against the moneychangers and merchants in the Temple of Jerusalem). Therefore if violence is initiated against Christians than the option of violence in response to these affronts should be available to Christ's followers.
Furthermore Christian's should demand their governments promote Christian interests abroad. This includes the withdrawal of any kind of support for governments acting prejudicially against Christians. Israel, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Syria, Turkey, to name a few examples, should not receive one iota of aid from any Christian nation. Only when egregious policies against God's Church are terminated can even the thought of assistance be entertained for any jurisdiction.
Domestically Christians must force the abandonment of prejudicial policies against the Church. In Ontario, Canada, Moslems are permitted to hold street prayers and prayer sessions in public schools. Christians are restricted from similar actions. It is time to make politicians in Ontario, across Canada, as well as other Christian domains, aware of how mighty the Church is. Future acts of prejudice against the followers of Jesus will bring political peril.
To meet the bullying of secularists, Christians can, and should, take part in boycotts, protests, ballot box politics, and even civil disobedience. Violence against church faithful will not be tolerated. All options of self defense are on the table.
It should be noted that standing up for the followers of Jesus Christ does not conflict with Bible prophecy. Bible prophecy should not be used as an excuse to abandon the defense of the true faith, or the true faithful. God fulfills Bible prophecy, not fallible human beings.
One benefit of these before mentioned tactics of strenght will be the indication to young people that following the true word of Christ is well worth fighting for. Increasing commitment to God will cause the expansion of belief in the Lord Christ. The disheartening reduction in faith besieging the Church in present time will be countered with a new, dynamic Christianity. When that occurs the howling of impotent rage by other religious followers, and those of secularists, will ring hollow in our ears!
